Nashville
We made a quick overnight to Nashville because my husband’s company AmeriBid was partnered with another auction company Blackbird Auctions to sell a building that housed a nightclub.
I saw Nashville had an Autograph Collection hotel close to the auction and booked it. I was preoccupied with family things and did not look up anything about it.
Boy….was I pleasantly shocked?!?
The Union Station Hotel in Nashville, Autograph Collection is probably the coolest hotel I’ve ever seen! It still has the feel of a railroad station, and the ceiling is “to die for” gorgeous. Built in 1900, this Richardson Romanesque landmark captures the majestic splendor of America’s great railroad era.
Our room was nice sized with a high ceiling, but I could have just sat and enjoyed the lobby all day.
I don’t know why I didn’t take any pictures, but definitely click on the hotel name above to go to their website to see pictures there.
After the auction, Stephen and I walked through the famous Wildhorse Saloon, had a beer at Tootsies Orchid Lounge, and then had lunch at The Palm.
