My husband’s family got together this July to celebrate their parent’s 60th wedding anniversary. His mom and dad wanted to renew their vows and selected a church in Hilton Head for the occasion. It was phenomenal.
We rented a couple of houses on the beach and played for the week. His amazing sisters organized everything from a spa day at FACES for the girls and a golf day for the guys to dinners and beach time and the vowel renewal itself.
One dinner that stood out as a highlight was our night at The Old Oyster Factory. This beautiful restaurant was voted one of the Top 100 Scenic View Restaurants by Open Table. From the fresh oysters to the Seafood Medley Entrée, every dish was top notch.
I will cherish the wonderful memories from this week: Fourth of July fireworks on the beach, running in the 5k with my husband, his sister and her family, meeting up with my aunt and cousin, and being there for the romantic vow renewal of Stephen’s parents.
With numerous sites and restaurants, Hilton Head is for the perfect place for a family reunion.
