My recipe for Roasted Whole Chicken is pretty straight forward.
1 whole chicken
2 tsps salt
1 tsp pepper
1 1/2 tsp thyme
1 1/2 tsp rosemary
1/4 cup of melted butter
First, take the “gross suff” out of the chicken
Baste the butter all over the skin
Combine the seasonings and rub all over the chicken
Bake at 375 for 15 minutes, then at 350 for 2 hours or until the button pops
Serve with stuffing and green beans!
